Students continue to build their vocabulary in this module by studying the use of Spanish in daily contexts. Throughout the course, students become more immersed in the language by reading and listening to words and sentences and completing short written exercises relating to the following situations:

Self-Study Approach to Learning Spanish
In the final module, students learn Spanish grammar while continuing to build their vocabulary. Lessons include verbs and tenses, pronouns, prepositions, comparisons, and many other building blocks of language.

Emphasis is placed on listening skills and on written and oral communication developed through drills, exercises, and pronunciation lessons. This module includes three audio CDs and free online tools for practicing vocabulary and grammar.

This educational program is an introductory course designed to help students gain knowledge necessary for the vocational application of this subject. Completion of this program does not fulfill the legal requirements of particular provincial licenses or certifications, which may require additional training or apprenticeships.
